For one of the fastest growing marketing disciplines, there are precious little opportunities for people to learn how best to use live marketing. One such opportunity is Eventia’s Events in Action Training Workshops, a one-day window on the world of corporate events for those looking to boost their understanding of the industry and its marketplace.
The next workshop will be held next Monday 22 January at Novotel London West in Hammersmith, London. In a series of practical sessions, delegates will be taken through the life-cycle of events and shown best practice in planning, executing and evaluating programmes, covering:
• What are the essential foundations to a successful event?
• How do you minimise risks in programme planning?
• What are the secrets of impeccable delivery?
• How do you convey brand messages at every stage of the event?
“In a classroom environment, Events in Action enables delegates to step back from their every day jobs and consider their role against performance benchmarks set by industry leaders,” explained Izania Downie, Eventia’s executive director.
Asked who should attend, she replied: “Anyone who would benefit from a comprehensive overview of producing events and motivational programmes, in particular: agency staff with up to two years’ experience in the events industry; sales and operational staff from hotels, tourist offices, destination management companies and any other service providers to the events industry and in-house event organising staff.”
