Love is in the air at The International Centre, Telford, with the launch of the Dress 2 Impress summer ball for singles, which will take place at the Centre on Saturday 23 June. Organisers are hoping to attract around 500 guests from all over the local area.
The event is part of the venue’s promotional strategy to organise more events for local people and will be open to single people aged over 18 who want to meet other lively, fun people – and although it’s not a black tie evening, guests are asked to "dress 2 impress”.

prepares for the Dress 2 Impress event
Clare Kimble, public events organiser at TIC, said: “This will be the first event of its kind that we have ever held at The International Centre, and our aim is to make it the place to be if you’re single this summer.
“On the night, there will be entertainment from a live band, a buffet, and ‘mix and mingle’ characters who will be on hand to encourage any guests who may feel too shy to approach potential partners. There will also be party games to help create a relaxed atmosphere, and to help our guests enjoy each other’s company and find out more about each other.”
