The Brewery's focus on its staff has paid off, with the East London venue being awarded the HBAA Training & Development Award 2008.

The award demonstrates the Brewery's ongoing commitment to best practice in the sector through the training and development of staff at all levels.

The first ever Hotel Booking Agents Association Awards marked the closure of the HBAA annual forum on Friday 12th September at the Park Inn, Heathrow.
The Brewery faced stiff competition from Starwood Hotels and Resorts
Worldwide Inc, Imago @ Loughborough and Chewton Glen.

It has been a memorable week at the Brewery as General Manager Claire Lawson was also voted in the top 20 of the Event industry hall of fame, with the announcement of Event Magazine's annual list of the UK event industry's top 100 practitioners.

"We are delighted to be recognised by the HBAA in this way, training and development is a key area of focus at the Brewery,” said Lawson. “I believe that aesthetics and product are prerequisites in an increasingly competitive market – it is staff attitude that build and sustain customer loyalty."
